 The Ascension Men's Group (AMen's Group) meets at Wards on Hardy & 40th across from CVS Drugs on
the 3rd Saturday each month. We typically gather to eat breakfast at 7:00 am
then go to Ascension for a project ending sometime around noon. The group
was originally organized by Billy McKinley. John Bear is
the current chair.
Previous projects have included:
- Periodic clearing and sprucing of the playground.
- Trimming and sprucing of the Brick House prior to renting.
- Scraping the front of the Gray house in preparation to stain.
- Collecting items for the Rummage Sale held May 2010.
- Building the new fence between the empty lot and the adjacent
neighbor's.
- Periodic clearing and sprucing of the general campus area.
